I am committed to protecting you privacy. By using this website you are giving me permission to collect information for the purpose of providing my services. I will only use the information that I collect about you lawfully.

I obtain information about you when you use the Pads Paws & Claws Dog website, for example, when you contact me about my services. Also should you book a consultation or we arrange an initial meeting, I shall request you to fill in a terms & conditions form, and a client & pet information form, which will require you to give more information. Or finally should you wish to book via phone call / text message I will obtain your information that way.

 

What type of information is collected from you?

The personal information I collect might include any information that you provide by filling in forms on my site. This includes provided information at the time of registering to use my site, posting material, requesting further services or subscribing to any service offered by me on the site. I might also request further information and if you should report a problem with the site. I may keep a record of any correspondence if you should contact me. Also you IP address may be collected.

Information such as:

• House alarm code (should you have one and not be in for the service I provide.)

* To invoice and send you receipts for your records

The only time your information will be shared is with your vet or your emergency contact which you have provided, for the well being of your pet, or for lawful purposes.

You have a choice about whether or not you wish to receive information from me. If you do not want to receive direct communications from me then you can select your choices by requesting I not. I will not contact you for marketing purposes by phone or text message unless you have given your prior consent. I will not contact you for marketing purposes by post. I only keep your data on file for any future bookings, unless you request me to delete it, which you can at any time. In which case I will only keep a record of any relevant book keeping records for up to 6 years as required by HMRC, such as your invoices and receipts. I will only share your data with a vet for the well being of your pet or for lawful purposes.

Security precautions in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information

When you give me personal information, I take steps to ensure that it’s treated securely these include: information provided is kept securely on a password locked computer, that only I have access to, or a code and/or faceid locked iPhone.

Non-sensitive details (your email address etc.) are transmitted normally over the Internet, and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while I strive to protect your personal information, I cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to me, and you do so at your own risk. 

 

My business is hosted on the wix.com platform.  wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows me to collect your data via forms.  Your data may be stored through wix.com's data storage, databases and the general wix.com applications.  They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  Their privacy policy can be found here.

I may analyse your personal information to create a profile of your interests and preferences so that I can contact you with information relevant to you.
